Join our main character Lina, as she journeys back to her home town and see how every day interactions with strangers, friends and her own family have shaped not only her identity as an American, but as an Asian.

PROUD is a short film about an Asian American woman who learns to embrace her ethnic heritage while trying to discover her identity as an American. The film is inspired by real life events of its creator Jackie Dallas, who grew up as the only Asian American girl in her small town Florida school, in the 90s.
